I've asked three times to move rooms because the family above us has been extremely loud, and it seems clear they aren't leaving soon. I still have another month of work here as a travel nurse, and after 12-hour shifts I need proper rest to do my job safely. I don't understand why other families can make noise above us, while I'm told we can't move because my kids might bother whoever is downstairs. When we first arrived, I specifically requested a third-floor room so noise from above wouldn't wake my two toddlers or disrupt my sleep. I was told none were available. A few weeks later, guests moved in above us and started making noise like furniture was being rearranged at 6 a.m. It woke all of us. I called the lobby, but nothing changed. When I asked to move, I was refused because of what my kids might sound like to the people below. The manager even asked if I could hear the noise while we stood there, then said, “You hear that? We hear that all the time and just never say anything to you.” I said she was welcome to bring any concerns to us, but that noise doesn't always come from us. The room next door is also directly above the lobby. One day, while my kids were still in bed, I went downstairs and heard a loud commotion that sounded just like what the manager had blamed on them. It wasn't us. Since our room and the one next door sit above the same area, there's no way to know confidently that the noise they “always hear” is from us rather than our neighbors. At this point, I have to believe this is racial bias. All guests should be treated fairly. I guess because we're a “loud Black family,” our need for peace and quiet doesn't seem to matter as much as other guests' does. I'm left questioning why.

They advertised breakfast as free, but it's grab and go, something like a granola bar or small muffin. Don't get too excited. We'd driven six hours from Northern California for my engagement event, and I'd arranged an approved midnight check-in. When we arrived, three of our four rooms were ready, but they wouldn't check in the fourth family because of a midnight “audit.” No one had disclosed this when we made the reservation, even though the room was available. We were told to wait until 2 a.m. for check-in. We ended up making another reservation and paying extra for early check-in. I repeatedly asked them to accommodate us, given the size of our reservation and the long drive, but the staff member was rude and inconsiderate. She was rude to another guest behind us, too, a man who didn't speak English well. She told him to speak English. I don't usually write reviews, but this was a terrible experience and people should be warned.

Thirteen weeks without maids. I had to buy my own trash bags and toilet paper, and sweep and mop myself. Your facility renewal kept interrupting me, too. You still haven't paid me back for week one. My company took my money and paid it to you. I expect you to change the line and give me a new towel, toilet paper, or a trash bag. What is wrong with you people?

Roxanne was awesome at check-in. She's a real asset, has a superb personality, and went above and beyond with customer service. She should be the manager and deserves a raise. Melanie, on the other hand, was disrespectful and called the cops for no reason. Her attitude and customer service were degrading and below satisfactory. I've never seen a manager handle things so unprofessionally, and as long as she works here, I'll never stay at this extended stay again. I'm taking this to the Better Business Bureau. She needs to be fired. I had to cancel a meeting because they came to do unexpected AC cleaning in our room, something that couldn't wait until after my meeting. When Melanie came in, she also accused us of smoking in the room, which is an absolute lie. This is a non-smoking hotel indoors, not outside. I smoke outside, and the cameras will show that. After I told her she was wrong, she said we'd have to be out by 12 noon and couldn't stay any longer, even though I'd paid through the first and it was only the 30th. I believe that decision was discriminatory. They then called the cops because I said I wasn't leaving.

We weren't there more than 10 minutes when our car got towed, even though it wasn't parked in handicap parking. That cost us over 5 hundred dollars. The next day the manager said we had to leave because of a noise complaint. We had a dog, and they're supposed to be dog friendly. This place is right out of the movie vacancy. The front desk person, man or woman, I couldn't tell, was the rudest person I've ever come across. I give this hotel a 0000000000000000 star.
