The owners are nice, and we’ll be back. It’s clean, affordable, and in a great spot. I’m glad an old-school hotel is still here in such an upscale town. The water pressure is great, though the interior feels dated and there aren’t nearly enough outlets or USB ports. With those updates, it probably wouldn’t cost $100 a night.

We came for my son’s hockey trip to Westminster School, and the location couldn’t have worked better. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the price is excellent. The people running the place were VERY nice and attentive. It’s not high-end, but it was just right for what we needed. I’d definitely stay again.

For this kind of motel and price, it’s a good choice. The room was very clean, large, and didn’t have the odd smells I’ve run into at other lower-end places. It is really outdated, so don’t expect anything fancy. I’d recommend it for what it is.

This has happened to us twice now, a year apart. My husband and I had a booking confirmation, but they said it hadn’t come through on their end. We’d driven over three hours and had to scramble to find somewhere else for ourselves and our two children. We won’t try booking here again when we visit Simsbury.

The room was gross, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. Before I could even get inside, I waited outdoors for 20 minutes, then the woman at the front desk complained that someone had let me in. I’ve stayed at lots of cheap hotels, but this was the worst, and it wasn’t even cheap.
