We only had two hotels to choose from in the area, which was a shame. We asked through the agoda app for a nonsmoking room, but they put us in a smoking room and said they don't honor third-party requests. We ended up buying spray and Downy to cover the smell. They also advertised breakfast, but there wasn't any because their permit had expired. If breakfast and service aren't available, they should be upfront about it. They take in plenty of money, so why not replace the rusty one? Not good overall. 😔

Someone switched off our air conditioner while we were out, even though housekeeping hadn't been in, so no one should have entered the room. The room itself was disgusting, with filthy walls, rust on the tub, and a dirty ceiling fan. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Save your money and stay in Portland.

There wasn't any breakfast, and the customer service was pretty indifferent, with no real interest in making guests happy. When we arrived, the power was out and the lights kept flickering. The tub also drained painfully slowly.

There was no Wi-Fi, and cobwebs were hanging everywhere. They gave us an ice bucket, but there wasn't an ice machine. The restroom door wouldn't shut because it hit the toilet.

The room was clean, but the rest of the stay was frustrating. They advertised free breakfast from 6am, then had none and wouldn't refund me for it. That feels like false advertising and a rip-off. I was also charged $20 for bringing our small dog, which I understand, but I don't get why the pet fee had to be a separate payment in CASH.
