Days Inn by Wyndham Sioux City

The front desk gentleman was so helpful and welcoming when I arrived. My room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed, and there are plenty of affordable fast food places nearby for an easy meal. I had a great stay and would happily come back. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We liked it so much that our original two-night stay turned into seven. The prices felt fair, and the amenities were available around the clock. The swimming area was clean and kept restocked, too. I was there with my toddler, and our little family had a really good time. The staff were kind and helpful. If I could give ten stars, I would. A good place to stop near Sioux City.

I found this hotel online while looking for a pet-friendly place after a long day of driving. I paid at the desk and walked my dog in the front lot, so I clearly wasn’t hiding that I had a dog with me. The paperwork I signed didn’t mention a pet policy or ask about my dog, but after I got home I saw a $150 charge for not telling them about the dog. I called, and they refused to refund it. I also asked the owner or operator to call me back and never heard from them. It feels like they look for reasons to add charges. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Getting to the hotel from the highway was easy, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The room felt a bit humid and musty, probably because the window AC unit needs work. Breakfast was about what I expected: biscuits and gravy in a crock pot, bread, yogurt, and a waffle maker, though the juice machine wasn’t working. Pet-friendly rooms are handy when traveling, but people coming and going in the hallway through the night can get noisy and disturb pets. There’s also a pool, which we didn’t use.
