Quality Inn & Suites Sioux City Southeast

The place looked really nice when we walked in, but our room had chairs with the arms chewed out, a bathroom sink that sprayed sideways, and holes in the bed covers. The pillows were unusually small and old. We have two dogs and paid an extra $50.00 for them.

We needed a room after our car broke down on the interstate, and didn’t get to Quality Inn & Suites until 2 a.m. The front desk gentleman was very kind. The room wasn’t luxurious, but we weren’t looking for that, just clean sheets and comfortable pillows, and it met those needs perfectly. Free breakfast the next morning was a bonus. The same gentleman was still working and asked how we’d slept. Very kind.

I didn’t feel safe or comfortable here, and wouldn’t recommend it if cleanliness matters to you. The bathroom was only fair and very dark, and the bed linen smelled like smoke. Furniture was banged up and broken, with light fixtures broken and hanging off the wall. The curtains were too long for the windows, and one side had come off the rod. I picked this hotel because it was next to the Comfort inn, which looked worse from outside, but I’d suggest going farther from the area to find somewhere decent.

I’m looking for a place right now, and the Super 8 has better ratings than this one. With all the consistently bad reviews mentioning bed bugs, mold, and other awful things, I’m not staying here. Thanks to everyone who left reviews.
