Baymont by Wyndham Sioux Falls

My husband and I had our first visit to South Dakota recently and loved it. This was a last-minute vacation, and we really appreciated how quiet the place was and how nice the accommodations were. We arrived an hour or two before check-in and asked if we could get into a room. The older man at the front desk was such a sweetheart. We had a lovely conversation before heading up, and he gives off dad vibes. He also let us book another night after I forgot to reserve the extra day ahead of time. That was my mistake, and he was so helpful about it. I’m sorry I forgot his name, but I hope life treats him well. 10/10 little getaway, and I’ll definitely be back next year. Wishing him and the hotel all the best!

The location was great, with a couple of restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. The mall, other shops, movie theaters, more restaurants, and parks were only a short trip away. Staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful, the rooms and halls were clean, and breakfast was good. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

I was able to check in almost two hours early, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the free breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve had: scrambled eggs, American fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, several cold cereals, good coffee, juice available 24/7, yogurt, and plenty more. I’d stay here again. My only small issue was that the hot tub jets wouldn’t turn on, although the water was hot and still circulating.

Jen at the front desk had our room ready when we arrived at 2 am after driving through a snowstorm. We were exhausted and got checked in within five minutes. We’d booked the king jacuzzi room, and it was quiet and warm, with plenty of towels. We slept really well, and the jacuzzi was wonderful. I like very hot baths, and both the water temperature and pressure were just right in the tub and shower. We slept in, then got a late checkout easily by calling the desk. Since we’d missed breakfast, the new front desk clerk told us our hotel card got us 20% off at the iHop across the parking lot, about a two-minute walk away. They also gave us a coupon for either a free short stack or cinnamon bites. I’m so happy with this place and feel well rested. I usually stick to places rated 4.5 stars or higher and was hesitant, but I’m really glad we gave it a chance. Can’t wait to see it get the score it deserves: five stars.
