Comfort Suites Sioux Falls Mall District

This is our usual place in Sioux Falls: clean, updated, and comfortable. Our latest visit was an unplanned stop around midnight with the kids after driving all night to avoid bad weather farther north. We needed somewhere warm and safe to sleep, and the front desk rep got us checked in quickly. There was a slight old smoky smell near the window or AC unit, though we couldn't tell for sure where it came from. Otherwise the room was clean and warm. We were in a hurry to leave, so we didn't eat breakfast or use the shower or TV. I could see staff mopping and getting the place spotless after guests left. They care about the guest experience. Would recommend!

I stay here every week for business and choose the same location each time. There's a convenient 24-hour restaurant and a gas station right behind it, plus on-site laundry for long workdays. Check-in is always quick, whether I arrive at 8 p.m. or 2-3 a.m. Even after driving through a rough storm, I've never had to wait long or call someone to come to the desk in the middle of the night. I just walk in, and within two minutes a kind gentleman comes out and checks me in without hesitation. My room is always clean, and the housekeeping staff and breakfast attendant are nice. Thanks to the staff. I appreciate it during long workdays.

The woman in the kitchen was especially kind and thoughtful. She made me feel comfortable every day, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Everything was amazing. I'm very thankful.

We were charged an extra $100, and I see other reviews mentioning the same thing. I think more people might find it if they checked their bank statements. We were there very late, with the kids already asleep, then got up, ate breakfast, and left. We didn't turn on the TV or shower. We used one hand towel to dry our hands and didn't touch the other towels. None of us wear makeup or have dyed hair that could stain anything. The only food or drink in the room was a bottle of water that I took with us. We brought just one duffle bag, and didn't see any stains on the bedding when we arrived or when we left. This feels like fraud, and the owners should be ashamed.
