The clean, useful fitness center even had disposable earbuds for guests, and the pool was clean and inviting. We also had a great breakfast, with very friendly and kind service from Melody. The night before we left, we had dinner, and the ribeye and ribs were amazing. We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend here, enjoyed this location, and will definitely be back.

I was close to not writing a review, but this morning was the last straw. Staff were great about helping me move rooms and comping the room after a problem came up in the first one. I do think they should keep better supplies on hand for an issue that shouldn't surprise them. I was up until 3am dealing with the first room problem, and spent about five hours trying to save some of my belongings. Exhausted and sore from all that work, I put up both the do-not-disturb and dog tags so I could sleep. At 8, a knock woke me and got the dog barking. It sounded like an office or business knock. The person seemed to say housekeeping, though the front desk told me housekeeping normally isn't in at 8. The day manager was in, and was supposed to get a message about my question on what to do that morning. When I got to the door, both tags were on the ground and nobody was there. They'd been slipping off through the night while I kept going in and out to deal with the problem, so maybe the hangers were bad and someone didn't see my request, or maybe it was a prank or someone up to no good. I really don't know. If you need to be functional the next day and don't want an unpredictable situation, maybe don't stay here. I ended up spending hundreds of dollars on supplies to fix the issue and on replacement things I needed that morning. I threw away about a quarter of my belongings, including my luggage and other things that weren't cheap. I couldn't use the shower the next morning because it was the best place to contain the things I planned to throw away. I just wanted to get out and sleep, after trying to find out whether they'd charge me for all the 'garbage' from my things in the second room, and dealing with the related issues.

For our one-night stay, the room was great and the hotel was quiet and well located. I liked the comfortable bed, too. We grabbed a bite at the bar and really enjoyed the ribs and dumplings. John at the front desk was accommodating, great to talk with, and made it a nice stay.

The Keurig in the room was a nice touch, with several coffee choices. The lobby looked very nice, but the room was disappointing. The heating and cooling vent was disgustingly dirty, as shown in my photo, and a plastic bag over the fire detector concerned me. I paid over $130.00 and the loud vent fan kept me awake most of the night. The pool is very small, though it's an okay place to relax. Getting to the rooms isn't convenient because there's no side-door entrance. Breakfast costs extra, and opening either of the two water bottles in the room will cost $2.00 each.
