The pool and restaurant food were the best parts of the Ramada. I liked the light-up mirror in the bathroom too. The interactive pool area was one reason I chose it for the kids, and it was pretty good, but the arcade was shut down. The restaurant’s food was good, though eating there all weekend would get expensive. There was no breakfast, which was a bummer. The room was just okay: stains on the mattresses, holes in the wall, a tub that wouldn’t drain during a shower, and a bathroom door that scraped the floor when opening or closing. Outside the hotel we went to the aquarium and butterfly place, which was cool to see, and spent most of our time in the huge park area for kids. I wouldn’t go back.

The location is really convenient, and Boston's pizza was a great place to eat. We had a couple of meals there. The pool was fun, though it could use a facelift, and the hot tub was only okay. It wasn't even warm when I tried it the second time. The hotel itself needs serious renovation, especially the rooms and pool area. The tub and shower were disgusting, and the beds were rock hard. They mostly provide a thick sheet for a blanket, though there were lots of soft pillows, which was a plus. The TVs were nice, but the remote was hard to figure out.

We only made it to the show because we had to hurry out after checking in around 5pm. We left our bags in the room, noticed a bad smell, and headed to Bostons for a quick bite before the 7pm event. By the time we got back, the odor was terrible, like mold or mildew, and strong enough that I worried it would make me sick or give me a headache. I asked to switch rooms, but the desk said none were available. A maintenance worker told us that room was supposed to be out of service: there had been a bathroom flood, the carpet was soaked and ruined, and Brenda knew it. He said he wouldn't stay there either and understood why we wanted to leave. We had booked two nights, but with nowhere else nearby available, we drove home at 11pm with a four hour trip ahead and canceled the rest of our weekend plans in the area. Even apart from that room, the property looked run down and gross. The website photos are clearly out of date. It felt like Brenda put sales and profit ahead of our health and safety, and Ramada/Wyndham didn't care about customers or the facility, just getting paid. I absolutely don't recommend this place and won't return.

The kids had a great time in the pools, which had comfortably heated water. We didn't try the restaurants, and although the arcade was open, we skipped it. Our room had a microwave and fridge, plenty of soap, and clean towels and bedding. The beds were quite firm, and the TV took a bit of figuring out, but that wasn't a big deal. We wanted a one night family getaway and had a nice stay.

I was on the first floor, and my room happened to be close to an outside door with parking right up to it. That made unloading and loading easy, without needing a luggage cart. I'll definitely come back.
