Cascade Creek Inn & Charters

The Kraft Family made our Sitka fishing trip unforgettable. We brought up an incredible variety of fish with experienced, entertaining captains, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The crew at Cascade Creek Lodge also served us so many outstanding meals. Very grateful to them all for such a great time!

Everything felt easy, right from being picked up at the airport and taken straight to Cascade Creek Lodge. It was my first trip to Alaska and my first time fishing, and Tyler and his crew patiently taught me to cast and untangled my line. I caught a bunch of fish! In the evenings, dinner was waiting for us after the day out, and then we’d spend a little time with friends before bed. Chef Kristy made us a full, delicious breakfast each morning, and the lodge had a nice common area where we enjoyed the cocktails we’d brought. At the end, they processed and packed our fish for the flight. Such an easy, fun trip. I’d definitely do it again.

Kristi is a fantastic chef, and she also handles the front desk with a smile. Her meals were great, and the made-to-order sandwiches on the water were so impressive some of the guys took pictures. The homemade brownies and other treats made a perfect lunch dessert. Everything was clean and well kept, and the people take pride in their work. We were on two boats, each with a great captain and first mate. It’s a charter, but they make it feel like you’re fishing with buddies. We caught our limits and had a great time.

Sitting out on our deck by the water and enjoying the view was a treat. Cascade Creek Lodge is family-run, and they took care of us from our arrival at Sitka airport through rides around town, fishing, meals, and good conversation with the owners and other fishermen. Kristi’s cooking was wonderful, and you won’t leave hungry. Captain Tyler and deckhand John did a great job guiding us, and we had a great time fishing. Beautiful setting, and we’d definitely recommend staying and fishing here.
