Super 8 by Wyndham The Woodlands North

I’m here with my daughter for a cheer competition, and our room is dirty and full of roaches. If zero stars were an option, I’d give that. Please avoid this place, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

We had to switch rooms three times, and none of them felt clean. The bathrooms were gross, including mold in the shower. The staff were nice, but the cleaning needs to improve. I was uncomfortable the whole time and won’t be back.

I left before the refund could be sorted out and got it days later. When I asked downstairs, the attendant said the manager couldn’t issue it until morning. I’d already seen several German Cockroaches: one crawled onto my shoe while I sat on the bed, and others were by the bed, on the floor, and on the yellow leather chair. The attendant acted surprised, though so many reviews mention German Cockroaches that I don’t see how he could be. The bed had been made, but why wasn’t a pest service called? There was also mildew and mold. I don’t understand how Wyndham can stay in business with Super 8 hotels like this, or how this place hasn’t been shut down. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

For the price, the room was pretty reasonable. The so-called included breakfast, though, was just muffins, bread, and juice. I didn’t expect food like you’d get at a more expensive place, but I did expect more than a muffin and orange juice. It was pathetic.
