Innsbruck Inn at Stowe

There’s a lot of charm here, and the value is great for what you get. The front desk staff were great, the location is great, and the rooms are very good for the price. We enjoyed the hot tubs, even though getting to them meant crossing the parking lot. A chimnea between them was a nice spot to chat over a cigar. Breakfast in the morning was much appreciated, with enough variety that there should be something for everyone, though it wasn’t huge. One downside: on the first floor, you’ll hear footsteps from the second floor. It’s an older building.

We were happy with our stay from Dec 23-27, and we’d stay again. My sister, our children, and I found everyone nice and helpful. The rooms were basic but cozy, and we liked sitting on the back porch to watch the snow fall. They served breakfast and what they call an afternoon delight. The chef was accommodating when my toddler wanted fruit for breakfast. The area was nice and quaint.

A cute little inn, really close to both the slopes and town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a free buffet breakfast with standard offerings, plus afternoon soup, cheese and crackers, and cookies. I didn’t get to try the sauna or hot tub, maybe next time.

We’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always enjoyable. The service, food, and cleanliness are consistently top notch. After a long day skiing, a dip in the outdoor hot tub is hard to beat. The walls and ceilings are thin, though that’s pretty common in inns this old, so it’s to be expected.
