In January, I was unexpectedly diverted from Ketchikan to Sitka and scrambling for a hotel at 6:30 in the evening. Aaron took my reservation by phone, quickly picked me up in the shuttle, offered to stop at a pizza place since I hadn’t had dinner, and brought me to the hotel. I was stuck there for two nights waiting for a flight out, and he shuttled me around with a smile and a great attitude. He’s a gem, and management should know what a great employee they have. The room was clean and comfortable, bigger than an average hotel room, with a small kitchenette and a beautiful water view. Thanks for making a last-minute stay a good one.

We had a lovely one-night stay at the LongLiner. The staff were very kind, answered our questions, and were flexible when we needed extra help. Our room was clean and comfortable, right on the water. Downtown was an easy walk away. Great spot in Sitka.

My original place was closed by the time I got there, so I was basically stranded, waiting in the rain at another hotel. The owners came to pick me up at 1 am, even though they didn’t have to. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, and went above and beyond with their hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, and I changed my whole reservation so I could finish my stay there. The location and scenery were a bonus. I’ll definitely be back.

Aaron, our driver, really made the stay for us. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and our room was clean. We were right across from the restaurant and bar, so it got a little noisy, though things quieted down after 10. The food cost a bit more, but it was worth it. We had a great weekend in Sitka and would definitely recommend staying here.

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were roomy, clean, and had working fixtures and appliances. Service was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit out of the way, and there was some noise until quiet hours.
