The kids' favorite part was swimming. They had a great time and didn't want to leave the pool, which made the birthday getaway extra special. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of choices, and the spacious dining room let our group sit together comfortably. We stayed overnight at Holiday Inn Express in February 2026 to celebrate four children's birthdays, and our clean, comfortable room was just what we needed. Kathy and Jocelyn at the front desk were especially helpful. While we were at the pool, Kathy restocked towels and made sure we knew how to reach her if we needed anything. We appreciated that attentiveness. We were told the new owners plan to upgrade the rooms and invest back into the hotel, which should improve its appearance and marketing appeal. Thanks to the team for helping make the celebration a success. We look forward to staying again.

The staff were super friendly, and both the lobby and spacious dining area were nice. The rooms were huge, lovely, and well equipped, with plenty of extras for the price. The halls and rooms are dated, and the hotel lacks curb appeal, but it was spotless from top to bottom. Even the floor around the ice maker was remarkably clean, which stood out because it's often filthy elsewhere. I was really happy we chose to stay here. The dated look didn't matter much when the staff were so pleasant, customer service was excellent, and housekeeping was top notch. I'd definitely come back.

My main concern is the accessible parking. The lot is always full, and there are no cars or labels indicating whether the vehicles taking up the handicapped spaces are actually staying at the hotel. I'm mobility impaired, and that's the issue I have. The staff were wonderful, especially the daytime front desk young lady, who helped me a lot, and the woman handling the Giant breakfast. Booking.com had rooms every night for $81.00 to $113 at any of these Holiday Inn Express hotels. For $113 a night, it felt like a lot for what was offered nearby. I was surprised by the price since there are so many things around, even though the hotel is somewhat out in the woods and very peaceful. I did find real peace there. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a desk, couch, and table in my room. The pictures show the condition accurately. I'd ask for a first-floor room in advance if you need assistance, since the hallways on every floor are very long. I was shocked, having stayed at the one in North Fall River while my brother was hospitalized at another hospital. This one was just as good. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 9:30, and it was unlike any hotel breakfast I'd seen, with chairs and booths. There's an indoor pool, which children might enjoy, and a chair that lowers people who can't get into the pool. The hotel also has a fitness center and conference center. It seems woefully understaffed for a full three-floor hotel with all those facilities. A lot of homeless people stay there because the rates are at least reasonable. Enjoy the pictures, they are real. I'm in pleasant shock!

The only thing going for this place is its location. We had no hot water for several days in a row, and the staff were extremely rude. The guy at the front desk kept looking at his phone while talking to me and didn't care that guests had no hot water. They also start cleaning rooms at 9 a.m., even though checkout is at 11, so don't be surprised if you hear vacuuming above your room while you're trying to sleep. After management responded, I updated this review. I appreciated the communication, and on my last day it was quiet and we had hot water.

The bedding, breakfast, and common areas were acceptable, but my mother's stay over Christmas was seriously disrupted by noise, smoking, and management's poor follow-through. I booked the room for Dec 25-29. The room next door was loud late at night and guests were smoking in this non-smoking hotel. When the front desk contacted them, they admitted smoking and said they'd opened the window. The next night the same room was disruptive again from early evening until about 2 a.m. There was constant yelling, people coming and going, doors slamming, and a baby crying for hours. Babies do cry, but this didn't seem like an ordinary quiet situation with a baby having trouble sleeping. The ongoing commotion next door contributed to it, and my mother couldn't sleep until after 3 a.m. The desk staff were polite and initially responsive, but management didn't seem urgent about fixing the problem. In my conversation with the manager, my concerns were partly justified instead of addressed. I was told a refund needed more “investigation” and ownership approval despite the documented complaints. I was promised a call back that never came. Later, when I contacted Expedia about a refund, I was told the hotel claimed I'd declined compensation. That's false. Nobody made a clear offer for me to accept or refuse. There was also hair in the bathtub and stains on the carpet. The staff were courteous, but management's lack of accountability, follow-through, and accurate communication overshadowed everything. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially for a quiet or holiday stay.
