The staff were welcoming and calm, and the hotel felt quiet, safe, and well cared for. Getting around was easy, which made being away from home feel low-stress. My room was clean and roomy, with a layout that made it easy to settle in. Everything was straightforward and worked as expected. A comfortable place to stay.

The room had a smoke smell, and people in the hallway were definitely smoking. I’m not sure how much the hotel staff can do about that, but it really brought down my stay. The layout was nice, and the staff were friendly.

We had five people in our group, and the rooms were clean and quite nice. The bathroom looked a bit small, but it was clean and worked fine. Water pressure was a little low and it didn’t get very hot, still, a nice place overall.

Our three-year-old son is autistic and wasn’t making much noise, but when we checked out the woman at the desk was extremely rude. She said they’d had several noise complaints and told us to stay somewhere else next time. There were children running around in the room above us, but we didn’t complain because we know how kids can be. When we said that, she replied, “you should have complained.” We’d booked two nights, but after someone complained that our TV was too loud and our heat wouldn’t work, we ended up dropping our son off late on the last night. I’d expected trouble by checkout. To top it off, all he wanted at breakfast was a blueberry muffin, and he’s allergic to nuts, but the only option they could give us was banana nut. We’ve stayed here before without problems, but when we arrived this time, staff were already complaining about Valentine’s weekend. I’m going straight back to the better hotel across the street. Don’t bring kids here. I would give negative stars if I could.
