We liked the Valentine’s dinner so much that we returned for breakfast Sunday, and both meals were just as good. The seafood platter was delicious, and everything at breakfast was good too. Erica was a wonderful waitress both times. We plan to come back soon.

It’s easy to walk from here to the cute shops and local restaurants, and there are nice places nearby to stroll or sit in the sun. The balcony views were beautiful, the beds comfortable, and the rooms spotless, cozy, and charming. Service was excellent, and the onsite restaurant was amazing. This quaint little hotel has the marina-town feel of Smithfield and is one of Virginia’s best-kept secrets. I’d put it at the top of my lodging experiences and will definitely return. Great for a business trip or family getaway.

Everything I ordered was good, and I had to take some home. I tried a cup of crab soup, hush puppies, a non-alcoholic pineapple crush, fish and chips, and a mug of hot coffee. I love this restaurant’s menu and the excellent customer service.

The calabash shrimp or chicken was a tough choice, so I went with the chicken. The presentation was great, and the price felt worth it. The food and atmosphere were out of this world. This place is a real gem, and I’ll be back to try more from the menu.

The staff made our 43rd anniversary feel special with a card signed with their good wishes and chocolate-covered strawberries. We had a beautiful celebration with friends at the restaurant before our stay, and the food was excellent. The hotel room was clean and so cute. Everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely return.
