The nearby shops were a nice bonus, and a fresh 3-5 inch snowfall made the setting picture-perfect for our celebration. The stay went smoothly from booking through checkout, with high-quality rooms and excellent cleanliness. We enjoyed the top-notch amenities and breakfast, especially the distinctive, tasty Pennsylvania Dutch items. Service and hospitality were great. Highly recommend it.

We went away for Valentine's night and really fell for this quaint, historic place. There are lots of little shops to browse, but go before 5 PM and avoid Sunday. Breakfast at the inn was filling, and we're definitely planning to return soon.

The room was clean and the accommodations were adequate, but we wouldn't stay here again. I use a cane and hadn't realized there was no elevator, so getting to our room upstairs was difficult. The bathroom was one step down and just adequate. The bed was hard enough to hurt my back. We couldn't get the heat going when we arrived, and the front desk had to contact the owner. We had to leave for our show at Sight and Sound theatre before he could get there. When we returned, the heater had shut off, though we managed to turn it back on. It went off again overnight and we got cold.

We've returned every September since our honeymoon in 2022, and this year was our fourth stay. Our first visit was in 2021, when my husband proposed in the Miller room. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We also liked Joy, the innkeeper. She was sweet. It feels like our home away from home ❤️

We loved chatting with the staff and left wanting to come back as soon as possible. The rooms were romantic and spacious, with everything you'd expect from a regular hotel. This beautiful inn dates back to the 19th century and has been preserved so well. It's owned by the Smucker family, yes, the ones who make breakfast jelly. Spectacular place. Love from Germany! 🫶🏻
