The bathroom was filthy, with a smashed bug and water marks in the tub, plus pee on the toilet. The sheets made my son itch and break out, and there was only cold water, so we couldn’t shower. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed either. Barely clean. Don’t come here.

We were looking for a pet-friendly place at a price we could manage, and this worked for an overnight stay. The front desk staff were accommodating. The room was okay, though the carpet had stains, the floors felt sticky, and I wish there had been more pillows. The area and people hanging around the parking lot felt a little sketchy late at night.

The area is really nice, which made the stay more disappointing. I’d booked ahead and called because I needed a first-floor room, but none was available when I arrived. The General Manager had to go check rooms to see if anything was open. The office lobby was dirty, and the second-floor unit he gave me was very dirty too. There wasn’t parking in front of the building, so I got a refund. The room photos don’t match what you actually get.

I moved to another extended-stay place on Leland Avenue after this. I was there from September through December and would still be staying, but the manager wouldn’t accept my reservation and wouldn’t explain why. He called the police and told them he simply didn’t want to honor it. Corporate said he had the final say and they couldn’t overrule him. I asked them to find out what I’d done to deserve this and never heard back. I’ve only received a refund for one of the reservations he refused. They also make you book through a third party.
