The units are a little dated but well cared for. It's reasonably close to the village if you don't mind walking some stairs. For a more affordable stay up on the mountain, this is a good choice.

The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed, even if it felt a bit dated. Our host answered questions quickly, and seeing deer and groundhogs every day was awesome.

The views are gorgeous, and the atmosphere feels more relaxed than the village while still offering its conveniences. It's around a five-minute walk to the village, and the shuttle stops here. Every unit has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the condition varies widely: some are updated and luxurious, while others haven't been redone in 40 years. The exterior was recently upgraded.

Summit is a nice place for a ski trip, and the rates are good.

I loved the view and feeding the deer. The lifts are only 300 yards away, but getting there means climbing steep stairs. It could even be treacherous.
