We stayed in the Chapel Lodge, which had loads of room across two floors, four beds, and a full kitchen and bathroom stocked like a home. The setting is tucked into lovely woods, peaceful and secluded but still near town, with amazing views all around. Check-in threw us at first because no one was there, but we figured out it was self check-in. A great fit for a fishing trip.

The cabins make a lovely, peaceful spot in the woods, whether you're there to fish or just get away for a bit. The owners are wonderful, and they've thought of all the little details that help you feel comfortable and welcome.

We spotted moose eating the flowers, and seeing their size against everything around them was something else. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches. It's a quiet, wooded spot, still close to town, and there's Kenai River access nearby. Just what you'd want from a cabin.

We stayed in June 2016 and had a really nice time. The little cabins were comfy, and I was asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. They're near both town and the airport, and we saw several moose close by. If I'm back in Alaska, I'd stay here again.

We came across this place by chance, and I'm so glad we did. Everything feels welcoming, cozy, and well cared for, and the cabins are clean, comfortable, and nicely equipped. There's a pond where you can sit, read, or nap. I could be very happy living here, and wish I could return soon and often, but I live a long, long way away.
