There’s room to spread out and unwind across the 10k acre property, so it never felt like being at a resort. Families of all ages have plenty of activities, and the riding options and horses are exceptional. Live music at most meals, prime cut steaks, and staff who focus on service all added to a memorable getaway. Simply magical. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a superior cottage, and the rooms looked even better in person than they did online. The food was very good, with plenty of choices, and most of the staff were lovely, friendly, and went above and beyond. We were lucky to visit in late fall, just after the season's first rain, when everything was green. Alisal Ranch is stunning, unlike anywhere I've been. The Christmas decorations were just starting to go up and looked beautiful. We hope to come back!

The breakfast ride was a highlight, heading out in the morning and eating outdoors felt so unique. We also enjoyed horseback riding and nature walks, then relaxed at the spa. There’s plenty to do, whether you come as a couple or with family, and getting around was easy. Our room had thoughtful little details, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Every meal was delicious and high quality, but still cozy and down-to-earth. Alisal Ranch was a magical stay. Only wish we'd booked another night. We'll be back!

My wife and I left before finishing lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was busy, so we were seated near the cooks, and we had to listen to them use foul language the whole time. I also heard them harassing a coworker. I told an employee how uncomfortable it made us, and she said she felt uncomfortable too and would pass my complaint to the manager. If I'd known foul language came with the meal, I wouldn't have gone there.
