Pier 4 Hotel

I grew up near Somers Point and passed this hotel all the time without thinking much of it. Then our power went out in a blizzard, and we needed somewhere to stay for a day until it was fixed. Room 401 was a blast and such a good spot. The mattress was spring type for some reason, though. WE LOVED DONNA, AND THE MANAGER WAS SO NICE. Thank you both, I really appreciate your kindness.

I was at the hotel for a small event, not as an overnight guest. The location really appealed to me, and the lobby felt cozy and nautical, with that beach-vacation smell. I was planning to talk with my family about staying there next summer, until I dealt with the woman at the front desk. She was curt, unpleasant, rude, and sarcastic with people in our group. Her passive aggression was way over the top. When people came into the lobby, she wouldn't even look at them, just stared at the floor and snapped out questions. I also overheard her interactions with people paying $120 or more a night. Based on that, I wouldn't stay there or recommend it.

I wasn't a hotel guest, but I went to the restaurant with friends and it was excellent. The service was great, the food exquisite, and the ambiance was "to live for." Like others, I'll be back. Do yourself "a flavor" and give it a try. It was well worth the trip and time. Get your taste buds ready, you'll be glad you did!

Our wedding weekend at the Pier 4 was amazing. We were surrounded by friends and family at the pool, with an amazing view. The rooms were kept extremely clean, and staff responded quickly whenever we needed something. Dawn went above and beyond from the moment I asked about a room block months earlier. She stayed in touch and checked in throughout, which kept me stress free. I highly recommend the Pier 4!
