There weren’t convenient outlets or USB ports by the bed or nightstand, so I had to move the nightstand to plug in my phone. That was frustrating and made the room feel outdated. The condition was poor overall, and the cleanliness and appearance didn’t match the price. The bathroom mirror’s coating was peeling along the bottom, the walls around the shower were coming apart, and wallpaper was peeling in the room. I expected much better and wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel needs to invest in maintenance, modernization, and basic conveniences for guests.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean, and the shower water was hot whenever I used it during my three-night stay. Staff were polite and welcoming at check-in. Housekeeping didn’t service the room while I was there. There were some maintenance problems: the bathtub faucet dripped, the bathroom door was literally falling apart and needed replacing, the mirror was damaged, and some walls had peeling paint. At checkout, the desk person didn’t ask how the stay had gone. I might stay again if I were in the area.

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The connecting door was the problem, we could hear everything being said next door, along with, umm, the activities.

The staff were so unfriendly and rude that the small maintenance issues were almost beside the point. We smiled and said good morning, and expected a response. The desk staff that morning were as unfriendly as they could be, nearly hostile. The hotel also needs updating and major repairs. We could have put up with the ripped wallpaper, dirty windows, and holes in the bathroom trim, but we won’t be coming back.
