NextDoor at Dos Cabezas

We’ve stayed twice now, most recently for two nights, and the place keeps getting better. There’s a spacious kitchen with everything you need, plus a fire pit, BBQ, outdoor seating, games, a turntable and records, and a lovely enclosed front garden patio. The beds were comfortable, and the several living and dining areas work well for a bigger group. There’s a smaller casita to rent too. Book early because it fills up fast. It’s also a great base for wine tasting around Sonoita and Elgin, with Dos Cabezas tasting room right next door. The decor is cute, and the rooms feel roomy, cool, and comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

You might not want to leave. Todd and Kelly have made this a really homey spot for a weekend, right beside Dos Cabezas winery, with all the thoughtful little touches that make it feel like home.

We did the tasting with table service and ordered the everything snack, and enjoyed it all. The patio under the fig tree was a fun, relaxing place to sit. Such a cool atmosphere for a gourmet pizza shop and wine tasting restaurant. We’ll be back for pizza.
