The dog park was a big help since our dog isn't used to being leashed all the time. She could run and play, and there were grassy areas around the property for walks, plus waste-bag dispensers throughout. We rented a furnished apartment for six weeks while my husband was having treatment at nearby Memorial Sloan Kettering. They found us a more private unit because our dog had never lived in an apartment complex, and it had everything we needed. What stood out most was how much the staff cared, including about temporary residents. Repairs, package acceptance, and other requests were handled promptly, with follow-up to make sure things were settled. My husband is immunocompromised, so we couldn't attend the monthly events. They sounded thoughtfully put together, from weekly yoga and Valentine's bouquet-making to trivia with snacks and potting and painting activities. I've lived in lots of apartment complexes, but never one that put this much effort into bringing people together. We loved our stay and the staff's friendly communication and care. We'd return in a heartbeat.

We're only a couple of days into our short-term lease, but Hansel responded quickly to an issue on our first night, took special care of it, and checked back afterward to make sure we were satisfied and looked after. The maintenance service has already earned the property its rAVE reviews. We love it here!

The one serious problem for my husband and me was the heat going out at least four times in under 15 days. He was very sick, and the cold winter days and nights left him extremely uncomfortable. The staff, though, were amazing: wonderful, helpful, friendly, and always greeted us with a sunny smile. Five-plus stars for them. I hope to return in the summer and use the swimming pool.

The apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, large refrigerator, plenty of pillows, and comfortable beds. Maintenance is excellent, and the service is more than excellent too. For everything the hotel offers, the prices are relatively reasonable. A top-class apartment hotel, highly recommended.
