Ramada by Wyndham South El Monte

The area was quiet, with a gas station, the freeway, and a Starbucks nearby. I booked the deluxe king suite Nonsmoking, and the room had no strange smell, like smoke. Both the room and bathroom were clean. The front desk person was very friendly and polite when I arrived, and check-in went smoothly. My stay met my expectations, with no issues or complaints. I was very satisfied and plan to book here again.

Legg Lake Park is within walking distance, and there’s a gas station and Starbucks right across the street. Prices were reasonable, too. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, which made us comfortable. I was glad there was a laundry room, so I could wash our wet, dirty clothes and fold them back into the suitcase. The pool was nice and clean. I’ll stay here again.

The rooms are huge, and I had a nice experience with the staff. I stayed a few months ago and have already booked a second trip, this time bringing my family from Colorado. Just remember, you’re staying at the Ramada, not the Waldorf Historia. Welcome to Monte.

Roaches came out of the bathroom towels and into the microwave while I was warming up food. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The people who work there seem fantastic at refusing to help or accommodate you, and they won’t refund your hard-earned money for the dump they run.
