There were six adults in our group, staying in a room with three queen beds. The back room with two beds worked well, but the common area layout and seating need attention. At the entrance, there was a table for four with a microwave on it, a queen bed behind it, and a TV in the opposite corner. Only the people sitting directly in front could comfortably see the screen. There were two chairs side by side, one without legs and resting on the floor, and both were awkward and uncomfortable. The room was clean and really only suited to sleeping, which was a shame since there isn't much to do nearby after dark and we wanted somewhere to hang out together. There's no front desk, but phone check-in was easy, so I don't have much to rate there. The seating and layout should be an easy fix.

This was my first and last stay. Guests are left to fend for themselves. The previous guests' used towels were still hanging on the bathroom door, and there were no towels in the self-serve cabinet. Housekeeping is by request, but that isn't posted. When I called, the employee said housekeeping had already left for the day and they didn't know how to get towels to me. They should have called the owner to report the problem. The tub stopper didn't work, the shower gauge wouldn't engage, and the tub wouldn't drain. At least the water was hot. The thermostat didn't work either, and the room got so hot I had to open a window. In my opinion, the location is the only redeeming quality.

((((Beware))))) My family and I were excited for a vacation at this beautiful place, but we got bitten by bedbugs on the first night. We packed everything up, bagged our clothes and pillows, and threw them away. I caught a couple of bugs and put them in a Ziploc bag to show the staff. We left at 1am! It was Cabin 21. They refunded us without any problem. I hope I didn't bring them home.

The multi bedroom mini cabin was just right for my family, with everything we needed to make breakfast in the kitchen. It was clean and close to Wolf Creek for skiing. Best hotel in South Fork!

The room was clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and nicely decorated. The check-in staff were very friendly, and I'd definitely stay again. The only issue was that the bathroom door caught on the frame and popped when opened, waking the family if someone used it at night.
