Budget Inn

The attendant was upfront about the type of motel and the area, but the stay was still horrific and not cost effective. I paid extra for a non-smoking room that wouldn’t smell of cigarette smoke, and the only one left had a king bed. I checked out 30 minutes late with permission and was charged another $7. Around 4 a.m., a loud headboard next door kept knocking against the wall and woke us up. In the room, the carpet had noticeable stains, the comforter and toilet were dirty, and there was no phone to call the attendant or iron and ironing board to borrow. The sheets were clean and the AC worked.

The cleaning lady was polite and did a good job with what seems like an old motel. My room was clean, the towels were clean, and the AC worked. Still, the TV was missing buttons, the carpet looked old, there were too many crackheads around, and I saw roaches. It’s not family friendly. They need to update the furniture and fumigate.

I went on Memorial Day 2024 after the nearby motels were full, and nobody answered at the main office. I spent about 10 minutes knocking and pressing the bell, but no one responded. It felt like no man's land. To be clear, I mean the motel next to Grand Fiesta Motel / Oak Tree Motel.

I stayed two nights back at the beginning of February, and the place was disgusting. There were crackheads and drug dealers around all night. My left arm started itching and broke out in bumps, and they still haven’t gone away. I don’t know if I picked something up there, but I won’t stay again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it, especially for anyone with kids.
