Quality Inn South Hill I-85

The evening desk woman was pretty good, but I won't return because of the roaches. The room was dirty, the floors hadn't been swept properly, and I found lots of cockroaches. The morning woman once told me that finding one didn't mean there was an infestation, but I found a lot. At breakfast, she watches everyone like they're thieves. The room itself was just okay.

The front desk staff were amazing, and breakfast was good. It was a good stay overall, though the room smelled and my bedspread had stains.

I ended up sleeping in my car, which was better than staying in this gloomy hotel. My room had a broken garden tub with no running water, propped up by tile squares. There was no pool, and parking lot signs said the hotel wasn't responsible if cars were broken into. I came from out of state. The front desk clerk had no customer service skills. The manager never answered her phone, and the regional manager didn't call back. I've canceled my account. This place should be torn down.

Don't brush off the reviews. I'm usually not fussy about hotels as long as they're clean, but this place was disgusting. There were roaches, little bugs, and ashes all over the floor, and the smell was awful. Drug addicts were around the building. I only needed a place to rest, but couldn't because everything was so dirty. If I'd known what I was walking into, I would've slept in my car. It was cheap, but in that condition it should've been free. I cut my trip short and left as soon as the sun came up. The front desk service was the best part. Worst stay ever, worse than Red Roof Inn.
