Blackjack Inn South Lake Tahoe

The woman at check-in saw we had two kids and upgraded us at no charge from the room my mother-in-law had booked, so the kids could have bunk beds. They LOVED them. She was kind and offered great ideas for activities and restaurants. The room was clean and newly updated, with a small refrigerator and microwave. We were traveling with two other adults as well as our family of four, and we’ll stay here again.

We were stranded without a place to stay after our weekend rental for our honeymoon fell through late at night. With a big event in town, we had called around and found no openings. This motel was nearly full too, but the owner gave us a great deal on a room with a king bed for the night and let us leave our car in the lot the next day while we worked out our plans. She was amazing and so kind when we needed help. The room was very nice, and we also appreciated the great coffee and parking. Thank you again!

I could walk to the lake and lots of restaurants and shops, and as a solo traveler I felt completely safe. The inn is reasonably priced, with simple rooms that were very clean and comfortable. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, iron, and ironing board, plus free coffee and tea in the morning. I highly recommend staying at the Blackjack Inn South Lake Tahoe.

The owner, Paul, was friendly and accommodating and set us up with a great room. It was clean, the AC worked well, and casinos and shopping were close by. My husband and I came to Tahoe for a getaway and found a hidden gem at Black Jack Inn. We’ll definitely be back.
