Tahoe Beach & Ski Club

The rooms are clean, the recreation room is great, and the gym is good. There’s plenty of parking and the prices are fair. The BBQs are there, but they only kind of work. The TVs are terrible, and don't expect maintenance or the office to be helpful. There's no AC, either. The fire pits being down was a real disappointment, especially in winter. We asked several times to have the pickleball court opened, but for some reason it was too difficult. I understand it's out of season, but guests still need to be accommodated. The place comes close to competing with downtown locations, but falls short.

The location is great, right on the beach and just a mile or two from the main lodge at Heavenly. Main street is a few miles up the road, while hiking is about 10 minutes in the other direction. There are restaurants and a Whole Foods across the street, with CVS within walking distance. The place feels a little dated, inside and out. I believe it was built in the 80s.

My grandkids loved the private beach, heated pool, and game room. The place also has two free washer-dryers with automatic soap dispensers. The rooms were spacious and very nice, with everything we needed, and the staff were super friendly. The location was perfect, with a Whole Foods right across the street. This place exceeded my expectations, and we'll definitely stay again.

We'd only planned a day trip to Lake Tahoe, but ended up staying overnight. We were lucky to find this gem on Airbnb. The property and rooms were cozy and clean, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and made check-in easy. We felt very safe. There's a Chevron right next door and a Whole Foods across the street. It's about a five-minute drive to Heavenly Village. This would work well for couples or families, and we'll definitely come back next time we're in Lake Tahoe.
