The Landing Resort & Spa

The staff and manager took such good care of us, and the lakefront location is hard to beat. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The things we especially enjoyed were the in-room fireplace, a huge hot tub, free champagne, and s’mores kits for the kids. We’ll definitely be back. This is our new must-stay spot in South Lake!

This made my birthday trip even more special. We arrived well before check-in, and the front desk let us in and upgraded us to a lake-view room at no charge. Everyone there was so nice and helpful, and the service was phenomenal. The rooms are pricey, but I promise they're worth it: heated floors, a tub, a fireplace, and a balcony, all top-notch. They also run a free shuttle for pickups and drop-offs anywhere. Jimmy restaurant was really good, and there are lots of other options across the street. I don't usually write reviews, but this place made our trip feel magical.

The shuttle was a really convenient way to get around, taking us within 1.5 miles, including downtown Heavenly, the gondola, and lots of restaurants and shops. We had delicious lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and the drinks were incredible. Breakfast was standard but still good, and the staff were friendly. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The resort sits right on the lake, so the views are hard to beat. Our room had heated bathroom floors and toilet seats, plus a fireplace that was lovely in winter. We also enjoyed the relaxing hot tub and heated pool. The staff were incredible, and we'll definitely be back.

This place feels like home, and we enjoyed every minute. It’s cozy, with lake-lodge decor that still feels fresh and modern. The staff were so sweet and friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Greta and Nicole gave us the best massages we've ever had, with such thoughtful, attentive care. Hannah helped us get settled at the spa, and Charles and Kevin were great when we checked into our rooms.
