Blue Moon Resort

The pool is very nice, with a waterfall shower and a walled-in private jacuzzi. It's clothing optional, so be kind to people who are especially well-endowed. The whole place looked clean, and the decor and music have a gay-chic feel. David owns the place, answers the phone, and gets to the front desk fairly quickly when you arrive. I didn't stay in the hotel rooms, so I can't speak to their quality or whether it matches the price. The day pass ends at 8pm, though, and then visitors without a room have to leave. It's difficult to find if you're not local. Cab drivers hadn't heard of it, so bring a map. When I asked David where the towels were, he pointed me to the blue bins by the pool, where they were all wet. That can happen, but he got huffy when I asked for a clean one. In my opinion, he's jaded and indifferent. He also spent a lot of time with his cell phone to his ear, apparently on personal calls, while paying customers waited. I felt only slightly welcome, as if customers were interrupting his gossip. Attitude matters, and he could work on his. The locker "room" needs an upgrade too. It looks like it belongs in "OZ", the one about the prison. The internet is available, but painfully slow and definitely not Comcastic. Massages are by appointment, so book ahead. The massage guy is hit or miss.
