The room itself was nice, with clean, good-quality linens and towels. I reported a little damage there, and I’m adding a star for the room. But I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re really desperate for somewhere pet-friendly near SFO. It’s affordable, though not especially cheap considering the hassle. I booked through bringfido.com for mid-September 2025. They say they allow pets, but nothing about the property seemed especially geared toward animals. There were no staff on site, so I’m not sure how they would assess the optional $25 per pet, per night fee. It wasn’t an issue for me because I decided not to bring my pet. After booking, I had to register again through their clunky system, answer a convoluted set of questions, provide my ID and pay another $100 security deposit. On the morning of my stay, I still had no arrival instructions. When I finally heard from them, they said I hadn’t completed registration, then immediately found my form and ID. I had to repeat the deposit transaction and send a signed letter because their system was broken and wouldn’t let me finish signing up. The instructions that finally arrived asked me to take responsibility for appliances in shared areas, which I challenged because I couldn’t be responsible for other guests. They also oddly asked guests to remove their shoes. Fine, I suppose, but come on. Another resident knocked on my door for help fixing his iPhone. I didn’t mind much, though it was odd, and I think a single woman traveling alone might find it unwelcome. More concerning was a guest, Manav?, angrily confronting another resident in the corridor because he didn’t want to share the shared bathroom. He left a note telling others to “keep out.” The other guests I saw made it seem like a place for young software engineers doing ad hoc contract work in SF. The property is nice, but really just a family house with locks on the interior doors, and it doesn’t seem competently set up for travelers with pets. Finally, they kept my security deposit without explanation and stopped replying when I asked about it. I had to get my credit card company to do a chargeback, which they did.
