Comfort Inn & Suites Sayre

The lobby had lemon water and another fruit-infused water, plus cookies at the desk and little chocolates when we arrived. We paid a fee for late checkout, but they did let us extend it. The rooms are big, and the bathrooms feel so cozy and pretty that I'm taking notes for the one I want in my future house. The beds aren't too hard, everything felt clean, and there wasn't that strong hotel fragrance used to cover odors.

The pool area was a real bright spot, though the water could have been warmer. The rest was more mixed. The room's thermostat gave us trouble all night as we tried to keep a comfortable temperature, and the phone was disconnected. The beds were okay, somewhere in the middle for comfort, and breakfast wasn't anything special. The rooms seemed to aim for a modern look but felt cold and unwelcoming. Fine for a one-night stop.

Breakfast was good, parking was plentiful, and check-in was easy with a really nice front desk person. My renovated room was simple, roomy, modern, and clean, with fresh sheets and lots of pillows. The bed was super comfortable, and the temperature controls for heat and AC worked quietly. It was peaceful all night, and I slept wonderfully.

We had one room for two adults and three kids, and everyone loved it. The rooms were large and clean, the staff kind and helpful, and the pool was great. It made for a surprisingly good family trip.
