Being right in town made it easy to walk to the shops and restaurants, and we loved unwinding by the river or taking a swim in the pool. The grounds overlooking the water are gorgeous, and the inn itself is beautiful and clean. Tony and Jill made us feel so welcome. Jill's three-course breakfasts were delicious, easily the best we've ever had. Our stay at The Blue Horse Inn was perfect, and we'd recommend it to anyone visiting Woodstock, Vermont.

We had such a good time talking with Tony about restoring the Inn and what life in Woodstock is like from a local's point of view. The breakfasts were beautifully served and really tasty, and the location made it easy to walk around town. Inside, the Inn felt elegant but still cozy and comfortable, with five-star accommodations. Tony and Jill were delightful hosts. Thanks to them both, and love to Rufus. We hope to see you again soon, and good luck with your endeavor.

The grounds are immaculate and the breakfasts are delicious. It’s a peaceful place, and Jill and Tony are gracious hosts. The Blue Horse Inn feels quintessentially Woodstock, with a beautiful property and a great location just a short walk into town, right on the main road. Whenever I visit Woodstock, this is where I’ll stay.

Breakfast was amazing, and Jill and Tony were gracious hosts who do a great job running the Blue Horse Inn. We had a comfortable, clean room with tasteful decor. The property sits right on the river, while the center of Woodstock is only a short walk away, so the location is pretty ideal. We had a wonderful stay.

The gas fire pit beside the river was a lovely way to finish the day, and the property itself is gorgeous. Everything seemed thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay, from the immaculate inn to the towels I was tempted to pack and take home. We stayed in Room 6, and its mattress was one of the best I’ve slept on. After more than two dozen B&Bs around the country, Blue Horse takes the cake. Jill and Tony are delightful proprietors. The breakfasts were delicious, and their presentation and mix of flavors came close to Michelin-level cooking. All the restaurants and shops in Woodstock are within walking distance. Thanks for a wonderful visit.
