Four of our five dinners were good, but the service was so inconsistent that I’d rather go somewhere that cares about the whole experience. The ambiance is nice, and the food can be nouvelle cuisine when it arrives, but it’s overpriced for what we got. We went Saturday, July 31, and had asked to sit outside, but they had no record of the request. The manager was rude while trying to seat us. Our waiter had to be flagged down, forgot several orders and didn’t seem well trained. The martinis came in wine glasses. Then the dinners arrived at different times, water glasses stayed empty until we asked for refills, and nobody checked on us, even though we were sitting near the register where the manager stood. One of the five meals wasn’t good.

We showed up on Saturday evening and were told our reservation had been canceled. The owner of MAison Vivienne was dismissive, unapologetic, rude and condescending, acting as if we’d done something wrong by arriving. I’ve never felt so talked down to. The innkeeper next door said they were having plumbing problems, so it seemed to me the owner was making up a story. They need to get their customer service together.

The owners and staff were so welcoming, which made our visit unforgettable. The restaurant has gorgeous, tasteful decor and an exquisite atmosphere, while the hotel room had luxurious linens. If you’re after quality and pure bliss, Maison Vivienne is a must. Can’t wait to come back, and I’ll definitely recommend it. Thank you!!

We went to Maison Vivienne with my parents and friends for dinner and brunch, and all of us loved it. The space is gorgeous, with a thoughtfully designed white and purple interior, fresh flowers and a lovely outdoor terrace. For dinner, we shared a bunch of dishes. My favorites were the chicken breast with amazing risotto and the steak, and I loved the duck marget too. It was cooked just right. My dad really liked the branzino. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the manager came by a couple of times to see how things were going. We had a nice chat. Desserts get 10 out of 10 stars, we tried them all and wow. I’d recommend coming for brunch or lunch as well as dinner. Try the moka french toast. It was the best French toast I’ve ever had.
