Residence Inn Wilkes-Barre Arena

The complimentary breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the morning staff were so welcoming and kind. We were grateful for the overnight desk woman on Feb 6-7, too. Our original hotel couldn't check us in because of a system issue, and after a long drive we got to this hotel around midnight. I'd called ahead to ask if my family could check in that late. She was patient, kind, and understanding, and got us settled so we didn't have to wait hours and could rest comfortably. She really made a stressful night much easier. The hotel itself was great.

The pool's always a hit with my family, and the rooms have been clean every time we've stayed here. We've been back a few times and had a great experience each time. The front desk staff are super nice and attentive, and the breakfast crew are friendly too. Definitely recommend!

The shower could use better water pressure, though I still highly recommend the hotel. The fitness room had all the equipment you'd need, and the complimentary breakfast was better than at most hotels in this category. It looks recently renovated, with modern rooms and fresh carpet in the lobby and hallways. Nice hotel.

The queen suite gave us lots of space to spread out, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very clean and spacious. Getting here from the interstate was easy, and the location near shopping and restaurants was great.
