The elevator has a musty smell, and the general cleaning could be better. The room wasn’t exactly dirty, but it looked like housekeeping wasn’t deep-cleaning between guests. Still, the service was great and the rooms are spacious and nicely laid out. I’d give it another shot if I’m in the area.

We’ve stayed here many times, and it used to be great, with super staff and a pool my kids loved. My husband is Titanium with Marriott. The last two visits, though, staff were passive aggressive and acted like we were a huge inconvenience whenever we asked for anything. We really don’t ask for much. The pool is another issue. They seem not to want anyone using it because they don’t want to clean it. The “heated” pool is so cold my kids won’t even get in. When we asked if they could raise the temperature, we got a huff and a response that it would take too long to heat. That’s not true, because we’ve had this exact location heat it before. I don’t know what changed, but if you’re coming for the pool, DON’T.

The staff were genuinely friendly and nice, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless the property is refurbished. I was here for three nights visiting the area, and although everything we used worked, much of the room was worn and needed repair. The window frame was separating from the building, towel bars were pulling away from the wall, the closet bifold door wouldn’t stay on its track, and the shower head and faucet kept dripping. I was mildly disappointed with the hotel’s condition.

The staff showed good hospitality and customer service. The rooms, though, have been disappointing lately, with old carpets and mattresses and cleanliness concerns, as if keeping rooms and hotels up to date has stopped being a priority. Before 2020, choosing a Marriot meant high expectations, and they always met them. Marriot has lost its touch.
