I stayed for more than a week and want to thank everyone who helped me. Ms. Kim, the housekeeping supervisor, was kind and reassuring whenever I needed anything. Dria at the front desk was attentive even while busy and helped with a lot. When I needed a hug during my family's funeral, she was there. Pablo, another kind gentleman at the front desk, helped me with a few things during his shift. Jasmine was the first person I spoke with when booking, and she was upbeat and kind too. If I've missed anyone, please forgive me, and thank you as well. You all deserve a job well done. I'll definitely return, but for now I'm heading back to AZ!

We booked through the Bon Voy app and spoke with an agent who kindly arranged our request by phone. When we arrived Thursday, October 16, the front desk attendant asked us to pay for the room up front within the first five minutes. We'd traveled all summer and had never heard of that. The manager and general manager both said the same thing. I told them I was used to paying on the morning I left, using the card that secured the reservation. I even called ahead to our next stop in Bay City, Michigan, to ask if that was their policy. It wasn't. I put the Bay City Courtyard on speaker so their manager could repeat what he'd told me privately. The manager here still didn't believe the other hotel employee and asked inappropriate questions about giving a room key to a guest who hadn't paid. It was implied we didn't have money on our credit card. We decided not to stay. The only good thing was leaving. A family member of mine who manages a Marriott sent us to a Courtyard five minutes away, where we were welcomed and treated very well. Pass this hotel by. The employees are incompetent, and from the other reviews, it sounds like a total dump.

Service was good, though breakfast wasn't great. The first floor smelled like weed, and the second and third floors were worse. I wouldn't recommend staying if you want to sleep or walk around without smelling weed.

Worst customer service ever. I called to change my reservation and asked for a new confirmation email, but was told I didn't need one. On the day of the stay, I called to confirm and was told I had no reservation because they'd double booked, and the worker was leaving in half an hour and couldn't help. Our group organizer called and was told the reservation had been reactivated. I called twice to confirm after that. Four hours later, when I arrived at the hotel, they said I had no reservation and couldn't do anything for me.
