Getting to downtown Greenport took just a five-minute walk, and the harbor view from the location was beautiful. We had a great weekend at Harbor Knoll, our first visit, though it won't be our last. Leueen is a fascinating person, and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast or wine at the end of the day. The Inn also gives you a chance to meet other interesting guests. Whether to visit the many nearby vineyards is up to you!

We came with our grown kids and their spouses to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we all agreed Harbor Knoll was just right for it. It’s right on the water, with downtown Greenport, the train, and the ferry all walkable. The accommodations were beautiful, and we especially loved getting to know Leueen, our lovely innkeeper. We had a great stay and hope to return soon.

We especially enjoyed spending happy hours talking with Louinne, the gracious and interesting Inn keeper. The social side of the stay was a real plus, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are well appointed, and the Inn sits right on the water in a beautiful spot, an easy walk from Greenport Village. We’ll be back.

Leueen was a lovely hostess and a pleasure to talk with. The Inn At Harbor Knoll has gorgeous gardens and grounds by the Sound, with birdsong and peaceful views of boats and ferries traveling to and from Shelter Island. We enjoyed those views from the heated pool, hammocks, comfortable chairs, and chaise lounges indoors and out. The house is charming and tastefully decorated, with beautiful things in every corner and plenty of good books on the shelves. It feels tucked away in a quiet private oasis, though town is an easy walk away. Our family of five loved all three full days there. Don't miss this place!

After two years, I stayed again at Leueen’s beautiful home in Greenport, and it was every bit as lovely as I remembered. The lawn is a hard place to leave, with boats to watch and little waves to listen to. I had a refreshing swim, enjoyed delicious coffee on the dock, and caught a spectacular sunrise over the water. The peaceful setting inside and out makes it a relaxing break from the city. I hope to return before another two years pass. On my earlier visit, I loved how quiet the B&B felt while still being an easy walk from town. It was a great place to settle into a lounge chair, doze in the hammock, or lie at the end of the long dock and watch the night sky. The design was impeccable, and I almost forgot I’d come for the vineyards.
