The hospitality here was outstanding, and we loved this boutique hotel. Kaylee, Jon, and Alex were true professionals. We booked at the last minute on a friend's recommendation through Kaylee, who was delightful and accommodating and met all my expectations for the room. Jon and Alex greeted us when we arrived and went above and beyond throughout our stay. The rooms were bright, spacious, well appointed, and immaculately clean, with a nice area for our dog to stretch out and relax. A particularly unusual perk was the guest snack area on every floor, open all day with hot and cold drinks, nuts, candy, cookies, and chips. In the mornings there were cereals, yogurts, muffins, and Crusants, a full continental breakfast spread. The bar and restaurant area had a beautiful, tasteful rustic-modern design, plenty of tables, and games to pass the time. There was also a big selection of old albums that you could play throughout the stereo system. Don't miss the rooftop sunset. Even in the middle of winter, we could relax on the couches by the fire pits. So pet friendly and in the best location. Thank you, guys. We'll be back. Geri C

The location is a big reason we love ThevMenhaden, with great restaurants in walking distance and beautiful wineries a short drive away. This was our second visit, and we absolutely love it. The front desk team is so kind, helpful, and welcoming. My favorite part is the Galley on the room floor, especially the hot chocolate chip cookies at night. This is going to be our yearly getaway!

This was our third time at The Menhaden, and the team once again made us feel looked after from start to finish. The staff were warm and genuinely helpful, and John went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms, atmosphere, and service were all perfect. We can’t wait to return.

When a snowstorm dumped 6 to 7 inches within an hour of our arrival, the owner had cleared the whole parking lot and cleaned off our cars by the time we woke up. That was a first for us in all our travels. Alex and Dan, the two men at the desk, also helped by pointing us toward every restaurant and giving great recommendations. For a winter break, everything was walkable from the hotel, including restaurants and shops. The snacks and treats were another highlight: freshly baked cookies and croissants every day, plus espresso, Coca-Cola, and sparkling water. We often take quick trips out east and have had plenty of good ones, but this was the best stay we've ever had there. We needed a real break from our hectic life at home, and this place was worth every penny. We can't wait to go back!

The lounge was a cozy, fun place to unwind, with games at the tables and a bar. In the galley there was orange juice, coffee, yogurt, cereal, and fresh-baked croissants. We slept in and missed breakfast, but Kaylee kindly put the oven on just for us when we asked about the croissants. Alex and John welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and they were kind, professional, and full of helpful information. My husband and I loved our little getaway at The Menhaden. Everyone we met was incredible, and the thoughtful details and genuine hospitality made it memorable. Highly recommend it for a relaxing special trip.
