The new management has completely turned this place around. It feels welcoming now, and the renovations are really nice and comfortable. The staff have improved too, and went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. Staying at the Guest Lodge was a breath of fresh air. I’ll definitely come back, and I’m curious to see what happens next for the hotel.

The rooms now have large TVs, full-size fridges, and new furniture and accessories. The whole hostel has been renovated. Staff were so kind and pleasant, and went out of their way to make my stay good. I enjoyed being here, and the new management and team are a great addition. I’m looking forward to coming back and seeing what they change next.

The rooms have been remodeled, and the staff were helpful. The new manager has done a great job rebuilding the whole place and improving the atmosphere. They provide free breakfast and coffee too. Give it another chance, you won’t regret it.

I booked this place because it’s an easy walk from the airport, and after a long day I just wanted to sleep. The front desk was friendly, but the halls were full of dirt, mud, and leaves. That was tolerable compared with room 223. There were no bulbs in the lamps, no trash can, and no TV remote. The bed was filthy, with glitter on the comforter and on and in the sheets. The mattress had stains all over it, though I might not have noticed if the bed had been made properly. Then a cockroach ran from the bathroom and disappeared into the door frame. I was surprised to find roaches in North Dakota. I slept fully dressed on top of the comforter. I won’t stay here again.

I spent three months here on a travel nursing assignment and never saw any of the vagrants the hotel used to have a bad reputation for. The rooms were clean and spacious, the price was reasonable, and it was quiet. The internet worked the whole time without dropping. The airport is about 1,000 yards away, and I walked from there to my room in eight minutes. In my opinion, Guest Lodge is the best place to stay in Minot, ND. I highly recommend it. Sincerely, Thomas Andrus
