A quiet, comfortable, clean place at an affordable price. The room came with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and TV, and check-in was handled by nice people. There’s no breakfast at the motel, but JB‘s pizza is right next door, and there are coffee shops and restaurants downtown about a quarter mile away. I’d book it again when passing through Sparta.

For a small-town motel, this is a good deal. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the price affordable. Just keep your expectations at motel level for the amenities. There’s also a 24-hour gas station and convenience store across the road for drinks or snacks.

I’ve stayed here several times while riding my motorcycle around Sparta and beyond. It’s a great property, and the team is helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

My first stay was in February 2024, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was. I even left a great review. Coming back in December 2024 was a completely different experience. The room was a dump: stained, dirty carpet, and a sink and tub so worn that the porcelain was gone and I couldn’t tell what was dirt and what was metal. There was a big brown fabric recliner that looked like it had been dragged in from the curb, and the bed was soft and lumpy. It was a horrible stay. At checkout I tried to explain my concerns to the young woman at the front desk, but she stayed focused on the computer and wouldn’t even make eye contact. I won’t return, and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere when visiting.
