Snow and freezing rain had started, so I felt stuck and stayed, but I paid $90 for a filthy room. Dust was everywhere, and the sheets hadn't been changed. They'd only pulled up the covers. I called the office and got another room without a problem, but it wasn't much better, and I itched all night. This place needs to improve, at least by cleaning the rooms and changing the sheets. It should be inspected by the health department. I don't usually leave reviews like this, but I can't recommend it even as a cheap motel.

The neighbors yelled and partied all night, then started up again at 7 in the morning. I'd already been there five hours when I spotted bedbugs. At 11 pm my ride was at work, so I politely asked for another room, and they said they didn't have one. I was given a different room, only to find cockroaches two hours later. They charged me $65 cash. This was one of the worst motels I've stayed in, despite having stayed in rough places in Nashville, Memphis, Huntsville Alabama, and Atlanta GA.

The front desk gentleman was helpful when I checked in very late, but by morning I knew we couldn't stay. The room was filthy, with trash in several spots, a used condom wrapper, and a live cockroach in the desk drawer. It was badly dated and everything seemed weathered, rusty, broken down, or dirty. I showed the woman at the desk a video and asked for a full refund. I got one night refunded, but not the rest. I hate leaving a bad review, but I'd tell people to find another hotel unless they want to bunk with creepy crawlers.

I only stayed because I couldn't pick up my rental car until 9 the next morning, and looking at the place when I arrived in my Uber gave me a bad feeling. The door latch was broken, there was no chain, and wood was missing from the side, so it didn't feel secure. I slept with a chair in front of it. The bed smelled bad and looked worn, like someone had already slept in it. Flooring was chipped and smeared, with visible footprints. The old, rusty sink had toothpaste drops in it, and the faucet was cracked. One towel had lipstick on it, others had makeup, and there was lots of hair on the bathroom floor. The old microwave had yellowed from white and had no light inside. I refused to order food and eat in the room. If you want a clean room, a comfortable bed, and hotel security, keep moving. This place should be condemned, and I'll be contacting the Health Department.
