I feel I should share this so others can decide before booking. The room had German roaches throughout, and there was visible fecal matter around electrical outlets. There wasn't a smoke alarm installed, which is a serious safety concern. The ceiling had significant water damage, parts of the floor were missing, and several cabinets were falling apart. Even though we'd booked a non-smoking room, it smelled strongly of smoke and marijuana. The property had other safety problems, too. One of the main staircases to the second floor was unstable and partly falling apart. We used it multiple times before realizing how poor its condition was. These are cleanliness and safety issues, not minor cosmetic flaws. I hope the property addresses them immediately so future guests don't go through the same thing.

The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes when I checked in. Febreze helped a bit, but the microwave was filthy, there was hair and other unknown stuff on the bed and in the shower, and I saw roaches. The woman checked me in quickly, though she had a bit of an attitude when I asked to move or get a refund. I guess I shouldn't have expected more for the $60 I paid.

I have never seen a place this filthy, dangerous, and unsanitary in my life. There was black mold everywhere, roaches crawling around, and weed smoke coming in under the doors. The mattress sagged in the middle, and not one outlet in the room worked. People outside were partying on a Wednesday until 4 a.m. At least there were no bed bugs, thank goodness. There wasn't even an option to make a complaint. They're only open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. I heard a man ask for a roll of toilet paper, and they said only one roll would be provided on Thursdays. I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Johnson City before, and it was so nice. I couldn't be clearer: don't stay here. This place needs to be condemned.

Miss Quin and Carson in the office are wonderful. Whenever I've needed something, they've accommodated me. I love that they always try to do something special for the kids on holidays, and I'm grateful for it. Jerome is quick to fix things when the office is told about them. Overall, the staff here are wonderful.
