Quality Inn Spearfish I-90

Breakfast was great, and I’m going to miss that fantastic coffee. The owners and staff were so friendly that I made good friends there, especially Hayley and Marta at Quality Inn, who worked hard and had great personalities. The place was very clean and a great price. A+++ stay.

We found plenty to do nearby, with more than five restaurants and a Walmart within walking distance. Our planned one-night visit turned into two, and we were happy with the room and breakfast. The pool was very cold, while the hot tub felt nice at first but wasn’t working properly. On day two it was only warm, maybe 85 degrees, and by the last day the pool and hot tub were the same temperature. Staff let us get more food and drinks at 11 a.m. before checkout. It was a great place overall.

Naz at the counter greeted us every time we came in and even checked our room herself to make sure it was clean. She also gave us bottled water and the kind of exceptional service you don’t see much anymore. This may be the cleanest Quality Inn I’ve stayed at, and I’d definitely come back.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though our air conditioner made quite a racket. Breakfast was just so-so. What stood out was how friendly and helpful everyone was, from the front desk to housekeeping. I’d stay here again.
