Downtown is an easy walk from here, and they’ve clearly put a lot of care into the place. It’s a modern, amenity-filled motel at an incredible price, with a supportive bed, strong shower pressure, new fixtures, coffee, and a fridge. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed.

Check-in was handled by email and text, much like a VRBO. This is a nicely renovated, old-fashioned little motel in a great spot on Main St, within walking distance of downtown. The room is small, but has a queen bed and kitchenette. Nicely done.

We’ll be back. We loved everything about the stay, especially the location: downtown and the wine bar were both an easy, pleasant walk away. The room had beautiful decor, top-notch bath products, a cozy bed, and a full fridge. It was also huge, so our crawling baby had space to move around even with the pack and play set up.

I wish there were more places like this along my drive, because I’d happily stay here every night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there were lots of amenities. I can’t quite explain it, but the interior design made the place feel joyful. It’s basically the nicest motel you could imagine, and worth far more than it costs.

Downtown Spearfish is right outside, and the start of Spearfish Canyon is only a short drive away. The location is fabulous, and there’s a charming, comfortable coffeeshop across the street. We enjoyed our four nights here. The owners did a heroic job restoring the old motel into VRBO-like accommodations. Everything matched the description and photos, with no surprises.
