Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spencer

We had to find a room at 1:00 am on 9/14 after trying the Americinn down the road, where the place was dirty and had bugs. For just $50 more, my daughter and I felt like we’d gone from a roadside dump to a luxury hotel. Everything here was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh, clean, and wonderful. The front desk gal was so thoughtful that she walked us up to the room to check that it was satisfactory. I wish I’d gotten her name. We stayed until noon that same day, and this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

Our fridge wasn’t working, so we told the receptionist, who sent maintenance to replace it promptly. The maintenance guy was kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was hot and fresh with lots of options. The staff were amazing.

The rooms are great and breakfast is good. The pool was closed during our stay because of a heater problem. What really made this Holiday Inn stand out was the service, especially Jackie. She’s caring, passionate, and so helpful, and went beyond her job during our latest stay.

We stayed for two weeks through a freezing snap. The rooms stayed warm, and they handed out heavy blankets, which we really appreciated. Clean, cozy, comfortable, with a great hot breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were the best, and the coffee was freshly ground.
