My two-day stay was unpleasant. The room didn't feel clean, and there were cameras in it. The door wouldn't shut or lock, so I couldn't leave my things there while I walked to the store. When I asked the woman in the office where the nearest place to buy cigarettes was, she told me I couldn't ask other guests for cigarettes, even though I hadn't said anything about asking them. The ladies in the office were rude.

If you're after a basic room at a low weekly rate and decent customer service, this place works. It's one of the cheapest options around for a week, so it's usually full. I called and stopped by every day for a week before I finally got a room, but I'm saving more than $500 a week on hotel costs. The rooms are clean, though dated, and have the amenities you need. Nothing fancy.

The front desk girl was polite, but the room and building were disgusting. There were cockroaches on the dresser, a cracked sink, and curtain rods held up with duct tape. The place was dirty and stinky. The door had a one-inch gap at the bottom and another one along the side when closed. It took over a week of trying before I got a room at the Arrival Inn, and I'd paid before going upstairs. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The review form doesn't let me post pictures, but if it did, I would.

I picked this hotel because few places in Marietta allow pets at a low weekly rate. The manager is reasonable and doesn't put up with criminal activity, so I don't feel I have to look over my shoulder here.

The Wi-Fi is available, but only reaches the front of the building. We were near that end and the 50/10 Comcast connection worked; from the far or back side, you won't get wireless internet. I also saw some roaches. We didn't have them at first, but after a woman moved in next door, they showed up. Once she left, we got them down to almost none again before we did. At first, I liked the place, and I give the manager credit for trying to keep trouble out. He said he used to be a cop, and we had no problems with theft, people hanging around, or drug deals. My complaint is how he treated women. He made comments about women he found attractive and seemed to want to sleep with every one who came in. As a single guy, you might be fine here. For a family, it could be okay if your wife doesn't mind those comments. Mine put up with it because she's nice and avoids confrontation.
